Phonak Hearing Aids UK

Phonak Hearing Aids are a Swiss based hearing aid manufacturer whose global head office is in Zurich, Switzerland and their U.K. base is in Warrington.  They are regarded as one of the leaders in hearing aid technology with their flagship product being the Phonak Ambra.

Phonak have also invested a considerable amount of time and money in pediatric hearing solutions.

Phonak are part of the Sonova Group, who also own Unitron, another hearing solution manufacturer and they also have a shareholding in Boots Hearing Care.

 The Phonak Ambra hearing aid was launched recently utilising their new platform hearing aid chip which is twice as fast as the chip contained in their previous premium product theExelia Art. This was followed by the Audeo Spice 9, Audeo Spice 5 and the Audeo Spice 3 which are all Receiver in the canal hearing aids (R.I.C.)

More recently have launched their newest range the Phonak Solana and the Phonak Cassia to complete the range.

The premium hearing aids within their new platform range have e2e connectivity allowing the hearing aids the ability to work in unison to combat better speech intelligibility when in noise and also come with unique and distinct features called Autozoom, Ultra zoom and Stereo zoom to improve dramatically the ability to hear in noisier surroundings.

As with most hearing aid manufacturers their product portfolio allow Blue tooth connectivity to devices such as mobile phones, televisions and mp3 players which allow sounds to be directly streamed via devices such as their icom.

Phonak also have a budget hearing aid the Milo Plus which although low cost still has features such as noiseblock and whistleblock.

Their power range come in the form of the Naida, available in Naida 9 which is their top end power aid, the Naida 5 and the Naida 3 which are available in Super power and Ultrapower.

The Phonak range have incorporated their “sound recover” solution that can take high pitched sounds deemed to be “dead or unheard regions” within the cochlea that are shifted across into lower working channels.
