Widex hearing aids are regarded as amongst one of the best branded hearing aids on the market today due to their unique smooth sounding algorithm within their digital processing strategy, ( in other words giving a comfortable rather than an aggressive sound processing quality from their hearing aids).
Their worldwide base is in Copenhagen, Denmark where they have recently had a state of the art purpose built architectural dream as shown below.
Their receiver in the canal hearing aids are called the Passion range, which are probably the most discrete R.I.C. (receiver in the canal) hearing aids on the market today and at the moment they have 5 levels of technology. They are Passion clear 440, which are the latest hearing aids to be launched by Widex, which have “e2e” capabilities allowing communication between the 2 hearing aids, the mind 440 which was their newest 15 channel platform but without e2e, the Passion 115 with 15 channels, the Passion 110 with 10 channels and the Passion 105 which (if you haven’t already guessed it ) 5 channels.
All these levels have the same miniaturised look that indeed sets them head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to cosmetic appearance. The most recent and highest level of technology comes in the form of their “Fusion Clear range “ which offers a high power option within their their newest platform of technology, incorporating wireless communication between the 2 hearing aids ( allowing a more natural and clearer sensation of hearing, especially in noise) and also has blue-tooth facilities offering the best yet battery life in their streamers and an over all top quality of sound clarity, when listening to television.
Widex apart from having probably the most cosmetic receiver in the canal hearing aids, also have a superb portfolio of behind the ear and in the ear hearing aids which are about to be upgraded. Their new Clear range of hearing aids are to be launched in May 2011. The Clear 440 will be available in all styles and designs.
Their mid range hearing aid will supersede the Widex 330 hearing aid clear hearing aid range and also their Widex 220 hearing aid. Although not decided upon Widex may keep their Real hearing aid as a budget hearing aid.
Their new wireless Clear range are all supported with a remote control called the RC-DEX , a wireless streamer for the use with mobile phones the M-DEX and the equally long battery life supporting streamer for Television and music systems the TV-DEX.
Widex have recently opened new premises in the U.K to help consolidate their U.K. growth and to provide a more efficient and bespoke service to their U.K. suppliers and customers.
