The Phonak Audeo Spice 5 replaces the Audeo 5 and the new hearing aid now has the latest technology platform as the Phonak Audeo Spice 9 but not with all of its features.
With 16 Channels, the Audeo Spice 5 is available in the Smart or Mini, the mini being smaller and more cosmetic but without wireless functionality and the Smart range being compatible with the wireless technology such as the Phonak icom (optional)
The Phonak Audeo Spice 5 has some of the same benefits of Audeo Spice 9 like Sound Recover and Zoom Control, with the Sound Flow, whereas the Audeo Spice 9 is the highest of the 3 technology levels.
