Resound Hearing Aids

Although the Resound Hearing aids company are not the biggest hearing aid manufacturer, it is the pioneer of “open technology” device among other competitors. Resound hearing aids come with a total of 16 different models. Their three new models of the Resound hearing aids which are Live 9, Live 7 and Live 5 eliminate all background noise, mimicking natural hearing processes to ensure users can hear clearly.

GN ReSound have been responsible for many ground-breaking hearing instrument technologies. Several years ago they invented wide dynamic range compression (WDRC), which enables a hearing aid to give different levels of amplification depending upon the loudness of the incoming sound. Simply put soft sounds are amplified at a level greater than the loud sounds. This feature is in virtually all hearing aids in the world now.

They were also the first manufacturer to successfully launch an “open technology” hearing aid – the ”ReSound Air”. Very quickly other manufacturers followed suit in producing open fit hearing aids which is probably one of the biggest innovations in the hearing aid industry. The reSound Be hearing aid is another product totally unique to the market working with open fit technology and using the full benefit of the outer ear to maximise sound quality and at the same time offering one of the best solutions on the market to combat wind noise. They have recently launched their newest platform of ”live range” hearing aids which is available in 3 levels of technology.
