Unitron have been developing and producing hearing aids for over 40 years and are part of the Sonova Group. Their global Head Office is in Canada with their UK Head Office based in Warrington.
In 2009 Unitron saw the launch of their Passport and Latitude Ranges, which have the CORE Microchip Technology and recently Untitron launched their Tandem Range with either the CROS or Bi-CROS System. The CROS System takes the sound from the ear with poor hearing to the ear with better hearing, whereas the Bi-CROS system works in the similar way but are for people with no hearing in one ear and poor hearing in the other. The Smart Control System comes generally as standard with most of Unitron hearing aids and this allows the user to alter and improve speech in noise which then can also teach the hearing aids to learn the best settings in more demanding environments.
Unitron not only boast their own unique product range but also through the “Unite” program, they offer support and help to Independent Hearing Aid Dispensers.
