The Oticon Alta Pro Hearing Aids have 10 programmable channels and an extended bandwidth which makes listening to music far more natural. Oticon’s own dynamic feedback cancellation reduces feedback without compromising on power. In earlier hearing aids manufacturers quite simply reduced the amplification of sounds that caused feedback or whistling but this also reduced the clarity of the hearing aids. These older methods of reducing feedback can sometimes be found in NHS hearing aids and is therefore one of the reasons people do not get on with them.
The Oticon Alta Pro Hearing Aids have blue tooth wireless capabilities that can allow sounds that are more difficult to hear from devices such as telephones, mobile phones, televisions, computers and MP3 players.
