Oticon hearing aids have been around for nearly 100 years and are produced by Danish manufacturers based in Copenhagen. The Oticon U.K. Head office is in Hamilton, Scotland.
Oticon hearing aids are owned by the William Demant Holding Group whose family very first founded Oticon. Mr Demant did this initially to assist his wife’s quality of life due to her hearing loss. Oticon hearing aids have come a long way since then and are today considered as one of the worlds leading manufacturers of quality hearing systems.
In 1977 Oticon hearing aids introduced their first in the ear (ITC) hearing aids and launched their first fully digital hearing aids in 1996. The William Demant Holding Group also own another hearing aid manufacturer called Bernafon and a National high street hearing aid company called Hidden Hearing. The Oticon motto is “people first” meaning that the products that they produce comes from the needs of the people who buy their hearing aids.
Oticon hearing aids offer a superb range of hearing solutions that are complete in ever way. Oticon’s flagship hearing aid is the Oticon Alta Pro, which is a bluetooth compatible solution that not only allows the hearing aids to work in tandem with each other but can also be connected to Bluetooth devices such as mobile phones and TV’s, via their NEW streamer pro.

Oticon hearing aids also come in a superb range of very powerful hearing aids called the Chili range, which are also available in three technology levels, the Chili SP9, the Chili SP7 and the Chili SP5 hearing aid.
Their latest open fit range of hearing aids were recently added, which again come in 3 levels which are called the Intiga range of hearing aids. They are called the Intiga 10, 8 and the Intiga 6 hearing aids.
More recently Oticon added their invisible in the canal Intiga i hearing aids, which sit deep into the canal and are available in 3 levels of technology.
