Starkey Hearing Aids are the only American based hearing aid manufacturer in the world. Starkey was created by an American manufacturer and they have been operating for just over 40 years.
They were founded in 1967 by William Austin in Minnesota, who first started a hearing aid repair company, which in turn led him to acquire a small hearing aid ear mold manufacturing company. The two were then later merged together to form the company, Starkey Laboratories. Their success was based on customer satisfaction and care. Throughout the 70′s,80′s and 90′s, Starkey led the way by providing more cosmetically acceptable, In the ear (I.T.E.) hearing aid analogue technology. They were also one of the last manufacturers to go digital.
The Starkey UK head office is based near Stockport and they more recently, launched their new X Series range of hearing aids, designed to offer a greater level of speech perception when listening in noise. Starkey have also launched their Otolens hearing aid range which is a new invisible in the canal hearing aid or I.I.C.
Starkey hearing aids – The Range
Starkey hearing solutions come in six different models. The three new models of Starkey hearing aids include the X Series 110, S Series 9 and S Series 7. Starkey are renowned for their reliability and as a proper hearing solution for those suffering with a hearing loss.
