The New Starkey X Series 90 Hearing aids are the Mid level of the latest X Series range of hearing aids. The X Series comes in 3 levels of technology, which also include the Premium X Series 110 hearing aid and the X Series 70. These 3 levels all come in a range of styles including the new Xino range of miniature reciever in the canal hearing aids as shown in the first picture shown.
The Xino mini behind the ear is designed to be very discrete when worn and can also have a custom “absolute power receiver”. Starkey have also introduced a size 13 battery receiver in the canal hearing aid which is bigger than the Xino model but can deliver more power if needed than the Xino.
The X Series range also comes in standard styles including behind the ear, in the ear and completely in the canal.
The X Series 90 processes sounds through 12 channels and bands for good clarity of sound and accuracy when programmed.
The X Series comes with a whole variety of latest features including Starkey’s latest Voice IQ2 feature which nearly doubles the amount of available back ground noise reduction. This latest strategy from Starkey has been proven to reduce effort when trying to hear in noise, whilst also utilising their InVision Directionality feature. Other new features include Spectral IQ which transposes unheard high pitched sounds into the adjacent lower channels where they can be heard. Also included is the Starkey PureWave Feedback Eliminator which can allow up to 28db extra worth of gain, delivering sharper sounds without producing annoying whistling or feedback through the hearing aid. Starkey have also introduced specifically designed programs when watching television or listening to music.
