Unitron Tandem 4 is a WiFi CROS/BICROS System with 4 programmable channels.
Unitron Tandem 4 Cros Systemworks by transmitting sounds wirelessly, via microphones on the hearing aid worn on the ear that is dead to the ear with normal or better hearing. Whereas the Bicros System works in the same way by transmitting sounds, via microphones on the hearing aid worn from the dead ear to the ear that has a mild to severe hearing loss which helps with localisation of sounds and allows the user to hear more clearly from the dead side.
The Tandem 4 offers Wireless Connectivity and the Smart Focus allows the user more control to improve speech perception when in noise. The Tandem 8 works automatically by using the Autopro 2 and the directional microphones provide Adaptive Directionality.
Please remember that you do get what you pay for in this industry in terms of improvement levels in your hearing as the technology bands increase. This applies to all hearing situations but more so when in more demanding environments where noise is present.
