Website Navigation Tips

Website Navigation Tips to help you around our website.

Please click our approval buttons where you see them at the top of the pages to let google know you like what you see.

In order for you to get as much information as you need out of our website, please use this website as your reference book to answer as many questions and to arm yourself with as much information as possible to help you make the right decision. On this and many other pages, you will see blue highlighted words. When you hover your arrow over the word, a line appears under it. This is called a link or hyperlink that when clicked upon will take you to another page within the site that will give you further information on that subject. If you click onto any pages via these links and want to return, simply click the back button, normally in the top left hand corner of your page. Alternatively right click on your mouse and scroll down to back button. If ever you feel you are lost within the hundreds of pages, just revisit our home page as your base, sited at the top of the page towards the left of the page to get your bearings.

If you start at the prices page, the prices are grouped by manufacturer. It is possible that some products are not listed. Please be aware that the possible reason for this is that either the product is no longer regarded as current technology, even though another company has quoted you for this. An example of this is the Widex Passion 105 that has been superseded by a Widex Clear 220 passion. There are too many other example to mention, so if you are in any doubt, please call us. Another reason for the hearing aids that you have been quoted for not being on our list is that some companies offer their own brand names in order to either hide what is really contained within the hearing aid in terms of technology or to prevent you from comparing like for like.

Each manufacturer generally offers three or four levels of technology in their product range. Although the hearing aids will look the same to everyone, the difference in price is because of the different levels of technology contained inside the hearing aids. The reasons for this are either to create different affordability price points and to create hearing aids that more suitably fit different lifestyles. As an example of what is meant by this, it might be deemed best advice to offer a lower less effective solution for people who might not use the advanced technology in their hearing aids simply because their lifestyle may not require those extra features. On the prices page or price comparison page, you will see a more information tab, in a green colour next to the product description. Clicking on this tab will take you to another page with more information on that product.

At the bottom of each page you will find a green print friendly screen which allows you to either print or convert the page you are viewing to a PDF file.

Don’t forget to visit our news blog for information on new products and a more honest and cutting view of the industry from my experiences as a dispenser and Regional Manager, whilst working for some of the top National hearing aid companies. I have tried to be fair but hold back no punches in what I know to be true.
