widex hearing aids head officeWidex Digital Hearing Aids are supplied by a Danish manufacturer who were founded in 1956. They are still today owned by the family’s 2nd generation. This fact is a really important one because any corporate decisions made are in the best interests of the company and consumer but not the shareholder. Their global Head Office is in Copenhagen, Denmark and their U.K. Head Office is located in the U.K. is near Chester. They are the 6th largest hearing aid manufacturer in the world and are considered to be one of the best in terms of hearing aid technology.

Widex hearing aids company has been around for about 57 years. Widex hearing aids are designed with cosmetic appeal in mind and as well as looking great they also offer a unique stunning quality of hearing for their customers new and old.

Widex Hearing Aids – The Range

Widex hearing aids have a total of 13 different models. Among all of them, Widex Dream Fusion and other Dream 440 models that are focusing on the maximum sound clarity and these products have the added benefit of running on a wireless platform with 15 adjustable channels.

Their Widex Dream Passion hearing aids are the most cosmetically appealing hearing aids ever made and are part of the Widex’s receiver in the canal range. The Widex Dream Passion hearing aids when worn are almost undetectable and are probably the smallest their kind in the world.

Widex hearing aids have only just launched a new range of products called ”Widex Dream”, which are based on their new sound processing platform True I.S.P. Their Dream range offers wireless e2e technology allowing the hearing aids when worn as a pair, to communicate with each other (21 times a second). This gives the hearing aids, when worn as a pair to give an even greater degree of clarity, especially when listening in noise. The new Dream range of hearing aids also have blue tooth wireless capability, which allows sounds to be streamed directly to the hearing aids from products such as mobile phones, televisions, mp3 players, computers and ipods. These sounds are streamed through various available units such as their Dex unit.  The Dream Range of hearing aids is available in Passion/Fusion 440, Passion/Fusion 330, Passion/Fusion 220, Passion/Fusion 110.Widex also have a new power product, The Widex Dream Super Power hearing aid range. All other styles contain the new Dream technology, including in the ear styles.

Widex hearing aids have a number of great features, such as their improved audibility extender which allows previously unheard sounds (due to dead regions in the inner ear), to be heard by the hearing aid user within lesser damaged regions of the inner ear. The Widex hearing aids Freefocus feature allows speech sounds in noise to be heard more clearly from selected directions without having to turn your head all the time.

The new Widex high powered Fusion hearing aid also has wireless capabilities. This new and so far popular product  also has a feature called phone+ that allows conversations to be heard from land line and mobile phones, which are streamed into both hearing aids simultaneously without the use of any extra devices.

What is also unique about Widex hearing aids is their Zen program which allows people who suffer from tinnitus to have a rest bite from its affects by playing various musical sounds that mask the effect of tinnitus. The Zen program has also been improved in their latest range of dream hearing aids to be even more effective.

The Widex Fusion also has a built in hearing loop facility which is a rare inclusion on receiver in the canal products. Telecoils sometimes also referred to as Loop systems or induction loops are used extensively used in buildings that are normally harder for people to hear in such as Banks, Post Offices, Churches, Theaters or in many shops.
